eLiberatica will be the first conference in Romania
dedicated to Free Software and Open Source as a whole, making it the
most eastern point of Europe for such an event.
FLOSS-related conferences have been held in Romania
before, but were focused on a single FLOSS technology or software.
eLiberatica will provide a high level view on the entire FLOSS
movement that includes business, social and technical aspects.
- We rely on the participation of some of the biggest names in the FLOSS world like the father of PHP language, the main creator of MySQL, the main initiator of Apache project, one official member of Mozilla Foundation, only to enumerate a few of them (please check the "Speakers & Events" section for more details)
- Practical subjects and examples will be presented, with strong immediate, beneficial contributions to the conference attendants.
You will have the chance to meet important international and Romanian IT personalities, you’ll have the break to discuss business opportunities and make important contacts (after the conference, a "Freedom & Networking party" will be held).
You will have the chance to visit the city of Brasov and Transylvania County, one of the most beautiful places in Romania.
